My Mum is Jean Rivett (born Jean Garmonsway)
This little biography was written before Mum died on 3 May 2021. I've opted to let it stand, and not turn it into an obituary; it seems right.
I wanted to make a tribute to my Mum, who was born in 1924. Rather than wait till she's no longer with us, I thought, why not do it now?
There are bound to be people who know or knew her but don't know her full story.
So here we are. The information here is factual and not sentimental. I'll only say that, like all mums, she's very special. She loves dearly every member of her family, and would do anything for them.
